    Family Resources of New Orleans was founded in 1997 as a non-profit 501© 3 organization, the guiding principles of the agency is to reduce the
    rate of poverty in the  New  Orleans Metropolitan area and surrounding parishes.  The Family Resource Center continues to serve as a place
    where families can come to learn about resources to help improve their quality of life.  We are a HUD certified housing counseling agency offering
    a wide variety of housing counseling, homebuyer education and homeownership programs.
